That’s Engineering! summer camp for girls in 6th-8th grades. Please read the information below and the attached flyer and registration form for more details.

On behalf of the Society of Women Engineers, you are invited to an exciting event, Wow! That’s Engineering! This event is three days of projects and technological talks to promote interest in engineering. Girls grades 6-8 will be “WOWed” with hands-on activities and women engineers sharing their advice and career experience.

We hope you will join us and learn about the exciting careers available for women in the field of engineering!

So it’s no surprise that over the summer when the Nevada Association of Career and Technical Education held its annual conference that SWCTA came out with several awards.

First, student Victoria Cana received DECA Student of the Year while Mr. Perry Annett received the DECA Advisor of the Year. Also student Tazia Statucki received HOSA Student of the Year and Ms. Cindy Chang received the New CTE Teacher of the Year award during the conference as well.

We are so proud of all of you! It’s with the hard work of students and staff like you that make our school what it is. Go Coyotes!
