About

I have been teaching for eight years in the Clark County school district. I started my career at Canyon Springs High School in the magnet program teaching  AP Macroeconomics, AP Microeconomics, AP Comparative Government and Media Policy Studies. After two years I helped in opening Southwest Career and Technical Academy where I have been teaching AP World History, Honors World History, and Regular World History.

I was born and raised in Colorado where I also attended the University of Northern Colorado. Here I obtained my history degree with and emphasis in Secondary education. I have continued to grow as a professional educator by earning my Masters in Administration from Touro University and also earning credits in educational technology from Southern Utah University.

As for my personal life, I am married and have two little boys. Liam and Jackson. They usually keep me very busy with their love of playing legos and outside at the park. I also have a great dog named Sammy. Whenever I have any additional free time, I love to read, sew and cook.
