College & Career Opportunities for Students

The Spring College Readiness Educational Workshops (CREW) will be held on March 20th from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Silverado High School. The workshops help parents and students in 10th and 11th grades understand general college readiness activities, the purpose of the PSAT and SAT I, and how to navigate scholarship opportunities.

WESTERN UNDERGRADUATE EXCHANGE

WUE If you are a resident of Nevada, you are eligible to request a reduced WUE tuition rate of 150% of the resident rate at one of the 145 participating schools in the West.  WUE states include: Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oregon, South Dakota, Utah, Washington and Wyoming.

Not only will prospective students and their families be given a campus tour, they will also have the opportunity to visit with representatives from each of Nevada’s academic units, ask questions of student service offices and eat in the Down under Cafe, the campus’ premier eatery.
