CCSD Drug Trends Open Forum

The Clark County School District Police Department will be hosting an open forum on “Drug Trends” April 19, 2012, at Valley High School beginning at 7:00 pm. The forum will address tips for detecting drug use or abuse, prescription drug use by teens, how to safeguard your child/student against drugs, and counseling resources. The forum is open for all CCSD parents and it is not necessary to RSVP. Please see the “CCSD Drug Trends Flyer” in the “General Information” area for more details.

2011-2012 Southwest Howl Yearbook Distribution

The 2011-2012 SWCTA Yearbook will be distributed during the May 18th Coyote’s U-Night event. Remaining yearbooks will be distributed May 25 during both lunches.

Only 80 books remain. Payments of $100 can be made at the SWCTA Banking Office or via the Josten’s website.

Northwest Accreditation Surveys

This year the SWCTA is beginning the process of becoming a nationally accredited high school by the Northwest Accreditation Commission. This is a process of self-study that will be used to help the SWCTA improve as a school. To complete this process, we kindly request feedback from parents and students. Program and Elective Course Fees

All program and elective fees for the upcoming 2012-2013 school year are due on September 6, 2012.

Program and elective fees can be paid online. There is a small service charge for your credit or debit card transaction. To avoid these fees, you may pay program and elective fees by cash, check or money order. Parents or students may pay course fees to the school banker during normal business hours. If you would like to pay online, please visit the SWCTA Webstore. Please refer to your course fee insert that was mailed to you in August for the breakdown of our course fees.
