Michael Georges
I was raised in Las Vegas, attending Twin Lakes Elementary School, R.O. Gibson Jr. High School and Western High School. I received a Bachelor's degree in biology and a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Loma Linda University in Southern California. I practiced dentistry in Las Vegas until becoming a teacher in 2008. My education training was done at Nevada State College. I taught Physical Science at Thurman White Middle School during the 2008-2009 school year and in 2009 transferred to SWCTA to become the dental assisting program leader. During the 2009-2010 school year I taught Biology 1, Biology 1 Honors and developed course curricula for the dental assisting program. I currently teach Dental Assisting 1 and 2, Dental Materials and Radiology, Dental Assisting Advanced Studies, and Human Diseases, Injuries and Conditions. My interests include traveling, sports, aviation and hiking.
